Perfect with Panko!

Our rich, thick Katsu Sauce is the perfect partner for crispy Panko-coated foods. Use it right from the bottle as a topping for breaded pork or turkey cutlets or a sweet-savory dipping sauce for fried shrimp, chicken nuggets, fish sticks and other finger foods. Great for meatloaf, too.

Suggested Use

Crunchy Fried Shrimp

3 large eggs

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 pound jumbo raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, leaving tails on

1-1/2 cups Kikkoman Panko Bread Crumbs vegetable oil

Beat eggs in a medium bowl until frothy. Mix flour, salt and pepper in another medium bowl. Dredge shrimp in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip shrimp into eggs and then coat both sides with Panko, pressing Panko onto shrimp. Pour enough oil into large, heavy pot to reach depth of 2 inches and heat oil to 350°F. Working in batches, add shrimp to hot oil and deep-fry until cooked through, about 1 minute. Remove and drain shrimp on paper towels. Arrange shrimp on platter. If desired, serve with Kikkoman Katsu Sauce for dipping.

Makes 3 to 4 servings.

Other Ingredients

Wheat flour, contains 2% or less of the following: sugar, yeast, soybean oil, salt.

As great as I thought it would be!

One of my favourite youtube chefs foodwishes' chef john uses these occasionally. I live in Greece and is a really difficult product to find. So I order it via iHerb. Try oven-roasted onion rings with those.. Here's the recipe Ingredients: 2 egg whites 2 tbsp milk pinch of cayenne 1 yellow onion, sliced, separated into 1/2-in thick rings 1/2 cup flour, seasoned w/ salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste 3 to 4 cups Panko vegetable oil spray I guess you know the drill. Just try it.. It's as good if not better than the fried ones.

Somewhat rough

These crumbs are a little too rough/large, but still do the job for nuggets.

panke bread crumbs were the right consistency for my recipe and they were delicious. I froze some of them and they keep their consistency and taste. I would like to try other varities of your bread crumbs for other dishes I make. Carmen Becker
