Vata · Pitta · Kapha
Chyawanprash offers anti-stress benefits. It is a rejuvenative and also offers antioxidant benefits. Chyawanprash pacifies Vata, Pitta and Kapha doshas.
In Ayurveda philosophy, good health can be achieved by balancing doshas present within us; Vata (air), Pitta (fire), Kapha (water). Nature's Formulary Chyawanprash plays an important role in balancing the doshas, when used as part of a holistic regimen including diet, exercise, massage and life-style changes. Our Chyawanprash is based on the 2,000 year old recipe from the Charaka Samhita, the first treatise of Ayurveda. Nearly 40 ingredients are used. This combination of ingredients is believed to have potent free radical scavenging activity. Scientists believe that just one serving provides many times the antioxidant power of Vitamin C!

I have used almost all major brands of Chyawanprash available in USA and India but this one is the MOST balanced I have ever used. It is not too hot or too cold. Effects are noticed with in few days, especially on Memory and digestion . Also gives a nice boost in energy level without any jittery side effect.
I have tested many different Chyawan Prash preparations over the years from India. This one has a great taste and extremely fresh texture! Although it is NOT made with the exact +40 ingredients of the original formula from Charaka Samhita, (as otherwise claimed) there is a great rejuvenating effect perceived from taking it. A rare quality product with wildcrafted and organic ingredients. So far the best CP I have purchased through iHerb.

I've started using Chyawanprash in pills and than switched to this jam. It's great, very tasty. I eat it for breakfast everyday and feel myself very good in this grey wintertime.
Helps energy levels

I have tried different brands of Chyawanprash, with varying results. This one definitely does give me an energy pick up. Just suck it off a teaspoon and gulp some tea to get the stickiness out of the mouth. 5 minutes later I am noticeably more awake and can continue typing at my computer, like right now. Don't know what it does to prevent illness, since I hardly ever get sick anyway.
I liked it!

Tried Organic India but prefer Nature's Formulary better. Stronger and slightly sweeter. Now see how good its benefits in the weeks ahead. Will buy this again in future.
A real good product

I love that it tastes spicy and not overly sweet, tastes very authentic Ayurvedic. Love it!! I have it 1 tsp first thing in the morning and at night or when I want a sweet snack I mix it with Tahini (sesame butter)and enjoy it. Can be spread it on like this on apple slices or banana rings
