Bob's Old-Fashioned Biscuits
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 6 Tbsp Butter
- 1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 425°F. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Slowly add milk and stir until dough just comes together. Dough will be wet and sticky.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 15 times. Gently roll or pat dough to 1 inch thick. Cut biscuits with a biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on greased baking sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Make 6 big biscuits.
Organic hard red wheat.

Great flour, awful packaging
Great flour, awful packaging
This flour makes WONDERFUL breads in bread machines. Better than other unbromated flours that I've tried. The texture of the bread made from this flour is superior. However, this recent batch of flour have some problems with the seals. They tend to break and leak flour. I've had two returns. What a pity and a waste of resources.
