The coconut oil was in liquid form when it arrived because of the hot weather. The liquid was completely clear with no visible bits and after leaving it in the fridge for a while it became solid again. The taste is pleasant; very pure with only the slightest hint of coconut and no strange burning (rancid) taste like some of the other oils I have tried before. I am very happy with this product and will continue to buy it in the future, as the benefit and quality far outweigh the cost.
