not my favorite

Posted by owlsrwise on Jan 30, 2012

it is a good almond butter and it is so hard to find raw, organic almond butter but it is not my favorite. It is the consistency that I have a problem with. My jar did not spread well and would clump - but it did taste okay once I could get on my rice cake. Others I have tried have tasted better but they cost more. I did order a second jar to see if maybe I just got an "off" jar. For the price - if you want organic raw almond butter, this is good.

It didn't taste that good...

This is my first organic almond butter, so I can't compare it to other organic products, but I surely didn't expect it to taste like this.

bought it once won't again

it wasn't popular with the family as it is too dry in the mouth to eat by itself. it's nicer with jam, honey and even treacle.
