100% Certified Organic Cacao Beans
The fruit of the cacao tree contains a small bean from which all chocolate is made. Cacao, also called cocoa, is an incredible health food in its natural state, filled with nutrients that provide natural energy, support heart health and protect our bodies from free-radical damage. This amazing food has been revered for centuries by cultures such as the Aztec, Maya and others.
The Sunfood Difference
Our cacao beans score and incredible 621 on the ORAC scale of antioxidant power; compare this to blueberries, which score a 65. Our low temperature process preserves the delicate antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and flavors found in raw cacao. We use only the finest variety of cacao, Arriba Nacional Fino de Aroma, which isn't hybridized or genetically modified.
Try dipping cacao beans into honey, adding to a trail mix, or eating straight out of the bag- peeled or whole. They can also be blended into smoothies and other recipes!

The beans are really only dried, not roasted. They are less bitter than several another brands.
I suppose this is how cacao should taste, but i can not eat a bean alone!! I will try with smoothies or whatever :(
