I like that it's got SPF, that's it's a mineral powder...but I was worried about the shade being too dark so I actually ordered a shade lighter than I thought I needed. This shade, "fair ivory," is the second lightest shade in the entire collection...yet I find it INCREDIBLY dark. In the picture I've included, you can see a shade a normally wear in the background (I normally wear a light/creamy toned powder), and in the front, you can see the bare minerals in the black cap. I know it's hard to believe, but this powder actually did say "fair ivory" on the bottom.

It's my first time to try bareMinerals, and I actually like this foundation! I put 4 stars because my skin gets a bit dry when using it ( also probably because it's matte) but other than that, I think it's more natural and less chemical on my skin. Nice coverage and corrects discolouration.

I like this for of foundation, Its matte and it's ok also for dry skin (of cource after cream appling). It has more yellow undertone. The difference between numbers 02 and 01 is HUGE! I have to mix them to obtain my skintone foundation.
