Rewarded Review

Real Mushrooms have become my go-to brand. They're organic, they have no added fillers/grains, they're hot water extracted, and show a guaranteed level of beta-glucans. All the factors I'm looking for with mushrooms. They also happen to be a Canadian company, which is a bonus for me. This Turkey Tail has become one of my favourite mushroom extract powders. I love the taste, and I've personally noticed a powerful and positive affect on my immune system at the beginning stages of just starting to fight something off. As with all medicinal mushrooms I'm sure it's benefits are multilayered and complex, and extend far beyond just the immune system. As far as what I've read in other reviews about the challenges with the powder being fine, I have a couple very easy solutions that I've found to work well: You can get a small glass container - ideally one that is darkly tinted so light doesn't get in - and transfer some powder into the container so it's easier to manage. To transfer the powder you can tap the bag while still closed to make sure the powder has fallen to the bottom before opening it (so the powder doesn't fly out) and then make a funnel shape with one section of the bag so that the powder follows the funnel as you tap it out, and again, doesn't fly everywhere. When you want to use some, just use a little measuring spoon to take out the amount from the jar you'd like. The key to any powder not clumping in a drink is to first put all the powders you'd like to mix in the drink into an empty mug, and pour just enough hot water in to make a thin paste-like consistency with the powder. After it's a thin paste, any other liquid you add should mix with it easily, without clumps. It works for me, and I hope I've described it well enough for it to work for you too, but if not, a google search should do the trick. Enjoy!
