Methylcobalamin, Adenosylcobalamin & . Hydroxocobalamin are the 3 most beneficial forms of Vitamin B12, each having different functions in the body. They are naturally occurring, biologically active, coenzyme forms of vitamin B12 and the forms needed for cellular utilization.
Methylcobalamin: The Essential Form
This is the form needed to raise overall B12 status levels across the body. It is the most prevalent form in the bloodstream and needed to carry out the essential functions of vitamin B12.
Adenosylcobalamin: The Mitochondrial Form
The energy factories of the cells especially need the mitochondria form. Adenosylcobalamin helps mitochondria burn food more efficiently for better energy production and metabolism.
Hydroxocobalamin: The Detox Form
Hydroxocobalamin plays a role in the body's detoxification processes. It is also shown to stay in the bloodstream longer and be universally distributed through the body to ensure long-lasting B12 levels.
Vitamin B9 Co-Factor as L-Methylfolate
Vitamin B9 and B12 have co-dependent relationships and ideally should be taken together. L-Methylfolate (5-MTHF form of Vitamin B9) is bloodstream - ready and the most bioavailable source of B9. Other forms of B9, such as Folate, must be converted to L-Methylfolate to enter the bloodstream.
Take 1 capsule per day, ideally on an empty stomach.
