What is Chamomile?
Chamomile is a plant with daisy-like white flowers that’s widely cultivated in the U.S. and Europe. It’s been used for centuries for health purposes. Of the two known varieties (German and Roman), German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is more commonly used in the U.S. Its flowering tops are dried and made into teas, liquid extracts, capsules and tablets.
