What is Vitex?
Vitex (Vitex agnus-castus), or chaste berry, is a flowering shrub that produces peppercorn-sized brown berries, native to Mediterranean Europe. The berries have a long history of use for reproductive health purposes, dating back to ancient Greece and Rome. The name “chaste” berry is said to have come from the mistaken belief that consuming the fruit reduces sexual desire or promotes “chastity.”
As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules daily with food or as directed by a healthcare professional.
