I bought this supplement to help my child her immune system when she is ill. I tried it before I gave her a spoon and it tastes horrible. I can’t even put it in her drink, she’ll notice it immediately. I can’t blame her. It’s really disgusting. I never tasted a decomposing dead rat, but I imagine it tastes like this. Awful.

I have been buying the First Defense product for many years now. It works incredibly well. But I find it works best to stop illness when given before getting sick. I always give it to my children the first week of school. My children never get sick. As well, if they are going to indoor play parks or any location where there are lots of potential for getting sick, I give it to them that day for a few days. I feel spending this much to reduce the amount of times they get sick is less costly than spending money on cold medicine and doctors trips. I use it too. If I notice my throat is getting sore I immediately take it. I find I don't get as sick and not as long. I will continue to buy this as I love it so much.
