Unfortunately, Dr. Mercola, Chewable Magnesium Advanced, Natural Cherry has been a huge disappointment for me. The tablets are extremely bitter — even I find them very hard to take. I paid extra specifically so I wouldn’t have to struggle giving this to my child, but he spits them out every time. (For reference, he happily takes black walnut, dandelion root, and other unpleasant supplements, but not these.) For me, this has been a waste of money, and I’ll have to look for another magnesium supplement.

I am sure the quality is good of magnesium and I wanted to try when I read the cognitive benefits and that it crosses the blood brain barrier improving hypothalamus etc but honestly I eat some disgusting tasting stuff but this takes the cake. Absolutely horrible. It’s so dry and I’ve got no chance of my kids taking it as that’s why I bought chewable lol
