Gentle everyday enzyme—eases bloat without the “burn”
Enzymedica Digest Basic is my go-to for light to normal meals. One capsule at the first bite reliably cuts post-meal bloat and gas without heartburn because it’s enzyme-only (no HCl or ox bile). Vegan, kosher, and the caps are easy to swallow. At roughly ₱10–11/serving, it’s good value for a daily helper. On heavier meals (very fatty, cheesy, or big portions) I either take 2 caps or switch to Enzymedica’s stronger blends. But for eggs/chicken/veggies on keto, this is the sweet spot—noticeable comfort, no drama. Pros: gentle, no HCl/ox bile, vegan/kosher, real bloat relief, good price. Cons: not strong enough for heavy meals—may need 2 caps or a higher-strength formula. Tips: take with the first bites, not on an empty stomach; keep hydrated. Skip and see a clinician if you have persistent upper-abdominal pain, ulcers, pancreatitis, or new gallbladder symptoms.
