Calming, but very mild

I used to buy a "kanpo" (herbal medicine) when I lived in Japan that was very effective and gentle, and looked for a rough equivalent when I moved back to the US. This "Chill Pill" is not identical but it's pretty close in ingredients. Bupleurum is also an ingredient in herbal remedies for many different ailments such as hemmorhoids, so it may have an anti-inflammatory effect. I found that taking 2-3 tablets at once was enough to feel a very mild 'steadying' or calming effect, especially if taken before bed. It's just enough to relax a racing mind and let me calm myself into sleep. However, if you are very anxious or need serious medication, you may not feel any benefit from this.
