Excellent!Mad Hippie Vit A Serum - This is my 4th bottle of purchase. I love this product because : 1. It works on exfoliating dead skin cells on my face, revealing fresh new and clean skin the next morning . My skin is smoother and brighter now with less wrinkles. Love it. I also use it on my neck so I got rid of Turkey neck. Apply your moisturiser over this serum about 10min after application. The next day, you will see smoother and brighter skin with less wrinkles. 2. It is gentle on my skin. Other products I have tried burnt my skin, they were too strong. So, this one is gentle yet works on my skin. 3. The price is good for such a quality; it is value for money. 4. I can’t find this particular brand of Vit A serum in my country. Was happy to find Mad Hippie by chance on iherb. Buying on iherb is convenient , one stop shop for me for many other items too including my baking needs such as flour. So, I have everything delivered to me at my doorstop.
I love Mad Hippie products, and use a number of them. This serum comes in a handy size bottle with a dropper for easy application. Nice natural ingredients, and no irritation of my very sensitive skin. Ideally use as part of your night time routine (I apply this before my night time moisturizer), as Vitamin A can interact with sunlight if worn during the day.
I am 34, and I have a very simple skin care routine. My goal is to be proactive about wrinkles and achieve my best and healthiest skin. This does it! It's the first vitamin a serum I've used. I noticed a difference after two days. My skin feels tighter has a more even tone and overall looks and feels healthy. This is not greasy, fine for my semi-sensitive skin, and a little goes a long way. I use this at night and sometimes after showering in the morning. Makeup, again my make up routine is simple (concealer, eye shadow, liner and mascara), stays on and looks great on top of this. A lot of people love the scent- but that's not a factor for me. It smells good, not over powering or long lasting. If you're deciding between vitamin a serums, give this a try.
Milky serum of medium density with the smell of orange peel. ▫️ It is pleasant to apply, absorbed in a few minutes and tightens my skin a little. This serum requires following with a cream after 20-30 minutes, because it doesn’t contain enough lipids for solo use. ▫️I didn’t have any side effects, irritation, peeling, but my skin was already familiar with retinoids. ▫️ Paired with vitamin C (vitamin A in the evening, vitamin C in the morning), they work perfectly and make me a glowy well-cared skin with an even tone. ▫️My skin: combination, sensitive, with freckles. BOTTOM LINES: ✅ bioavailable form of retinoids ✅ recyclable package ✅ reasonable price ⛔️ a dropper style bottle that allows contact with air ⛔️ orange essential oil smells nice, but it is not suitable for everyone, especially for sensitive skin ⛔️ the exact percentage of HPR is unclear
I'm still on the fence about Vitamin A in my skincare routine, but every now and again I try it again. It just seems like my face is so prone to sensitivity and dryness that these kind of substances seem to do more harm than good. That said, if you take it slow, maybe 1-2 times a week I think this is a good one. It didn't have the harshness of some other brands.
I’m pleasantly surprised by how non-irritating this serum is when compared to my usual retinol. I skin cycle because my regular retinol (3% encapsulation) leaves my skin needing day or two off between applications. Mad Hippie Vitamin A serum gives great results without redness or flakey patches and could absolutely be used nightly. I love the natural ingredient list, too! This is my first time trying the brand, but I’m loving this serum and look forward to trying more of their products.
