I was very happy with the liquid version of Mucinex DM, and this seemed like it should work even better with the slow-release feature. My wife unfortunately had the opportunity to test this out since she caught a respiratory infection. So far, these tablets certainly do provide relief, but it seems to me the syrup helped suppress the coughing somewhat better than these pills.
