I’ve been really changing my eating, so I’ve been adding protein shakes to my diet and this was one of the suggestions to add so I got it and I am so happy I did, it helps give me clean energy with no crash and as far as being in a shake there is no powdery taste!
I'm fairly new to maca and am really glad I chose to try the gelatinized organic maca from Navitas. I've heard of all of the health benefits and was worried that I wouldn't like the taste as much. However, it tastes pretty mild and just adds a nice nutty boost along with additional fiber to smoothies and shakes. I even started putting a small tablespoon of it in my cereal and can hardly taste it at all. I will continue to purchase maca from Navitas and am now on my second bag!
Bought this smaller sized package of maca to try, as I'm a big fan of adaptogens. Almost done with the pack, and will be buying more. Has a malty taste that works great with my morning coffee. You do need to stir it in quite well otherwise it clumps up. Definitely notice more energy and less of a caffeine crash.
It's good quality maca, the first time I'm trying the gelatinized version, they say it's easier for digestion, can't find much of a difference. Have been taking maca for improving my hormonal balance and I find it also helps with my skin and energy levels . Such a great adaptogen, I think everybody can benefit from it.
If you don't know, gelatinized maca is a lot easier on tummies and goes down easier. This is a great size for the quality and purity, and I really love that this brand has certifications backing it up. Maca itself is a cool herb; it's great for energy and resilience. Beware of the flavor though, it has the usual weird maca flavor that's super divisive and I recommend mixing it into strong-tasting drinks.

Love it!!! Great taste, smooth texture and dissolves well in every drink, love that it is easy to use package, however the resealable zipper does not hold, so had to move the powder to a different container. This did not happen in my previous order of the powdered product. Still worth 5 stars to my opinion.
I like to buy the gelatinized form of Maca because it is better digested. I am in my 70's and I've used maca for years. I really like the Navitas brand the best. My body loves maca. I put a heaping teaspoon in my morning smoothie. It keeps my lady parts functioning very well, thank you. My husband takes it, too. He benefits in his own way - wink-wink. Gotta have it. Wouldn't be without it.
Ive just been starting at 1/2 teaspoon to help my energy levels and hormones and so far so good. I feel like I have more focus and stamina and will continue taking. I think it has more effect than the Maca powders that aren't gelatinised and this one is organics so no sprays or heavy metals.
