Recommended brand by our doctor. Will definitely purchase again! SOD + has a modest “support base” of antioxidants. It is good quality for long-term antioxidant enzyme support. The capsules are enteric-coated, which helps protect the delicate enzyme (SOD) from stomach acid so more reaches where it’s effective and of benefit. Solaray is a well-known brand with a long track record. As for ingredients, Each capsule has 400 mg of the S.O.D. complex (SOD + catalase) + a support base: rosemary, green tea, calcium D-glucarate, ellagic acid, grape seed.

Hoping for repigmentation of vitiligo

This isn't exactly a review since I just started and will post back with results, but SOD and catalase are two deficiencies proven to have links with vitiligo. My plan is to take this at night followed by morning sun exposure for the rest of the summer, with hopes of seeing some repigmentation. I'm surprised I've not seen anyone else trying it for vitiligo but am encouraged to see multiple reviews that reported improved skin overall. The combination of ingredients is promising if my body is able to absorb them. I've had good results with Solaray products in the past, so here's hoping!
