Well the smell wasn’t good, even my cheap match had a better smell, but the taste of this one was better then I expected. Very light and no aftertaste, and Beautiful foam !! But still wasn’t as good as I wanted (especially if you have in mind the high price for this matcha) .. But then I tried to drink it with milk (low lactose and almond milk) and it tastes SO GOOD! Now it tastes exactly like I was expecting it to taste, and feels more like a cup of cappuccino then tea (and I do drink it as a coffee substitute). Hope this review will help you decide what’s better for you.

Very surprised that it is listed as an organic ceremonial matcha Colour was not bright green more yellowish green. Smell was not earthy or grassy as expected with a ceremonial matcha. Little froth bitter taste Great in a matcha latte but definitely not palatable as a ceremonial matcha to drink on its own. The conventional matcha on iHerb like Rishi or Tao of tea Jade matcha taste better on their own than this one, sadly. The plastic packaging has a clear window which might account for the matcha being more easily degraded by light hence its poorer quality.
