Growing up in mixed Indian and Caribbean family coconut oil and cacao butter were mainstays in our household.I suffered from terrible eczema/psoriasis as a boy and took all kinds of steroidal creams and pills to stop the itching and scratching but nothing worked..My Dominican Grandmother was not happy about her Grandson taking what she called dirty poisons so insisted on cacao butter to heal my skin...6 months later my skin was 90% better and I could finally sleep through the night. I have tried many brands since then but this is the best brand I have tried so far...The first thing you will notice is the incredible aroma once you pop open the bag...This stuff smells amazing..The next thing is that this butter is really creamy rather than flaky like many other brands...Although it doesn’t taste like it smells,I wish it did, it is great mixed in with hot chcocolate or in a milkshake or smoothie, especially when a little sunflower lecithin is added to help emulsify it. I use it to make my own dark chocolate by warming it with some good quality organic cocoa powder( I recommend Zint) Simply warm using a double boiler and add cocoa powder and palm/coconut sugar to taste with a little sunflower lecithin for extra creamy mouth feel..Then pop it in chocolate mold or ice cube tray and stick it in the fridge for an hour before enjoying the best homemade chocolate on the planet. If you prefer milk chocolate add some milk powder and/or some organic whey protein powder..Absolutly wonderful.. Use enn bee jay nine zero one to save on your first purchase.Good health.
