Love the product

I started using Swedish Bitters about a month ago. I am very pleased with the results. I take it before and after I have eaten a meal and does help in the feeling of being blotted. The taste is somewhat strong. I do mix it with 16 oz. of water. I have become accustomed to the taste.

A reliable help

Posted by Reviewer2119459 on Oct 23, 2016 | Verified Purchase

A reliable help for the "blah" felling in your stomach that sometimes occurs after a meal. We've been using it for many years and always keep a bottle in the refrigerator (where it lasts really long, like easily over a year). The taste is strong, but you can dilute it in water, however I just take it straight- for some reason the taste is comforting when I don't feel so good. We have offered this to guests in our home and it usually works, although some object to the taste- wimps!

Is it just me or is it -very- bitter?

Posted by 5397433475140670309 on Apr 25, 2016 | Verified Purchase

So, the other bitter products I've tried and used regularly hasn't felt like a punishment to swallow. This thing is among the worst tasting stuff I've ever encountered! The taste (or is it pain?) sticks in the throat so bad that I'm questioning if the pain/benefit-ratio of this thing is worth it. Is it because it's so potent? Or has it gone bad, even though it has almost a year left? I'm reading other cheering reviews that doesn't mention taste or drinkability but says it has great effects, so maybe it's just me? Anyways, will keep gobbling it down in hopes of getting used to it...
